Frank Riemer Jr.

Germantown - Went Home to the Lord on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the age of 91, His heart of gold just couldn't go on anymore. Beloved husband of Edna (nee Schmick) for 69 years. Loving father of Linda ( Jeff ) Zokan and his late son Fred Riemer, and loving father-in-law of Lisa Pickard. He is also survived by 3 loving grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Frank had a love, and a true talent of photography since grade school. His photo assignments for the Milwaukee sentinel eventually led him on a path to law enforcement. Frank was the first full time police chief of Germantown after his career as a patrolman, then detective, in Glendale. After retirement in 1991 he enjoyed nature photography and travel to many national parks along with various other hobbies throughout his busy life. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. If you knew him please take a moment to remember the good man he was.

A private graveside service will take place. A celebration of his life will take place in early summer. Please visit the funeral home website for more details about Frank and his family.

Dear Edna and family,

I am so sorry to hear of The Chiefs passing. He was a wonderful caring man and I will always remember his kindness, smile and sense of humor.

He will always be The Chief to me.
