I met Frank at MPM - when he came first as a volunteer, then a docent. We shared an interest in archaeology, and was always willing to share his expertise on the Mayan with visitors of all ages. He will be deeply missed.

While I have known Mr. Lotter for a very long time, I really have gotten to know him through his son Andy. Andy is the best man I have ever met and a testament to the person and father that raised him. Thank you Mr. Lotter. You were an amazing father to my best friend and a role model for us all. I look forward to thanking you properly in heaven some day. Until then, you will be missed. God bless.

I worked in the office of the House of correction the last 6 years that Mr. Lotter was the superintendent. He operated the House of Correction with integrity and common sense. I missed him after he retired. My condolences to his family. Here is a photo of Franklin Lotter, Gary Strzyzewski and Dennis Strzyzewski at Captain Brown and Captain Birds retirement party. What a blast we had that night.

Frank was the co-founder of the Friday sheepshead outing which began when he was still the head of the House of Correction. Every Friday noon a dozen friends gathered at local pubs in Milwaukee for sheepshead, lunch, and general chit chat on issues of the day. Frank would often share his adventures from travels with friends and family. All the participants will miss a true friend, truly philanthropic giver of himself to the community, someone who loved his family, a class act, humane and caring person. We all will miss Frank.

My prayers go out to Franks family. Frank was the best boss I had while working at the HOC. He always had a kind word and funny stories to tell his employees. He was missed after he retired. RIP

Frankie was my cousin, but I hadn't seen him for years. He was a good guy!
