I just stumbled across George's obituary. I'm so sorry to hear of this. I knew George when he was a defense attorney in San Diego and I was a court reporter. He was a very good attorney, lots of fun to work with. I'm sure he is missed by all.

I have been blessed to know George. It was so wonderful to see George out of the courthouse on the soccer fields. He would run up and down the sidelines cheering Jesse on. I think he was the loudest parent! George would take my son and Jesse to baseball games in San Francisco and dinners in June Lake. He was a kind man with a big heart. I treasure the many times I would run into George at KMart or Vons with Alex. He was always so proud of him. We would share the good things God was doing. My heart loves George. I will miss his joy and kindness. My condolences to his family.

I had the pleasure working in the Superior Court where George was DA. Always had a big Cheshire Cat smile! I will remember him with great fondness.

I had the great joy and blessing to know George during our many NCAA March Madness trips. Without question George was one of the most pleasant kind fun intelligent and upbeat people I have ever met. I only regret that I wasn´t able to be with him more. Those who who knew him were truly blessed . Love you and miss you George. God bless you and your family. Go Spartans!! Dave Chapman

It was through the Maxwell grapevine that I learned of Geordy’s passing and it’s been stuck in my mind ever since. I knew him at a distance, an 'upperclassman' at the Bay, an iconic figure even then, but to me, he was Anne's big brother. I recall rambunctious humor and gentle kindness, and wanting to be like him. And now, some five decades after, it is just so vivid. His photo reminds me of Mr. Booth, the senior Donald Booth, that is, random figments perhaps, but it feels real and really not so long ago.

So many memories of Geordy all the way back to Cumberland elementary school, and then of George in high school. He was a good friend as a child and a great guy as he grew up. It was always a treat to see him at the reunions. My sincere condolences to his family, and I hope that your warm and loving memories will give you some comfort. He will be missed.

So saddened to hear about George. Chris and I saw him every few years when we’d make it to Mammoth or pass thru Bishop. Always loved connecting and catching up. He was such a wonderful Dad to Alex. He will be dearly missed.
