As cousins growing up together we shared so much fun. At that time there was a huge open field right across Wisconsin Avenue in Wauwatosa and a city park right next door where we played. We moved to California in 1965 but never lost that closeness with Georgie, Chuck, or Mike, and when rare opportunities to see each other again occurred we simply picked up from where we had left off, as if those days of playing together were yesterday.
We'll keep that memory fresh, and I do believe that the Star Georgie will live on in our hearts as long as we live ourselves.
We here in San Diego send our love, prayers, and deepest sympathies to all.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I enjoyed the hours on the phone with you Georgie and the spur of the moment car rides and just sharing good company. You could find words I couldn't and could finish my sentences I started. You could always help make sense of the craziness around. You are gone too soon. I'll remember all your wisdom and kindness! You always took the high road an exemplary example to all. You will be missed by everyone! You touched so many lives. You did well Georgie. Later......with love...

My dear cousin, George. I have wonderful memories of your family coming to visit us in California when we were kids. We would all gather at Grandma's and Grandpa's house, and after dinner we'd all go out in the front yard and run and play. We called you Georgie back then. You are a sweet soul, dear cousin. Fly high. Much love to you.

May God rest your soul dear cousin George. Enjoyed our times as kids playing and when you visited San Diego and we bought fire crackers in TJ as teen agers. God comfort the whole wonderful family.

George! Please send us all a sign from the other side. We will miss you more than words can say. You introduced me to serious jazz, showed me how to play the guitar just for fun though I never got the hang of it. Once George helped me engineer a pair of "angel wings" on a swing for a dance performance. They weighed about 300 lbs. so it was very hard. He made them work--the performer looked like he was flying with giant wings. I hope you are too my old friend, across the sky.

My friend George... we had so many good times together at GHS. George was smart, funny, adventurous! In short, everything you could want in a companion and a friend! I can't think of a harsh word or thought coming from him in all the time we spent together back then. I wish peace and comfort to his family as deal with their grief in the coming days! I am proud to have called him, perhaps like many others, my best friend!

Aww, George... so shocked. I will miss you and your music so talented. I have known you since our days at Glenwood and all the way to GHS. You truly were one of the nicest boy to man I grew up with. Fair winds and open roads on your next journey. I shall miss you

Oh, George! Your eloquence, kind heart and keen insights were shared too briefly. You reminded us through your beautiful Craftsmanship words mean something, are purposeful and helpful tools. Fearless capacity displayed worthiness and merit of your views. Oh, the depths and understanding you revealed. Your skill, craft, brilliance all now residual is painful to reflect. I'm Proud to call you Cousin. Grateful for the time we had and the insights of this world you gleaned and shared.

Wowww this takes us all by surprise...classmates sinced Glenwood, GMS & GHS, riidiing the bus together. (You & Jeff Zing were good friends & neighbors on our bus route)....simply loved your smile & free spirit. You are now officially trading in your HAWK wings for ANGEL wings! My sympathy to your mom & family!
