George was a wonderful man. He made you feel always welcome, and most importantly you were his friend the second you met him. I am comforted knowing that the last time I saw George, he greeted me with a smile, took time out his day to sit and talk and gave my daughter and I a hug goodbye. We are regular customers, but George made you feel like family. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Our family was saddened to hear of George's passing. I will fondly remember him taking me in and making sure I was well fed before basketball practice back when the restaurant first opened across from the high school. His big heart and hospitable qualities carry on through his sons. May you find comfort knowing he is no longer suffering and making many people smile (and probably grilling them up a delicious burger) in heaven. Our sympathies to your whole family.
