To the Weber Family:
Please accept my deepest sympathy. I would always enjoy Gerry's visits to the lab. We would have some interesting conversations. His smiling face will be missed.

I am deeply saddened by Gerry's passing. I have known him since I started at MCTS in 1977. The kind of worker and boss he was doesn't come around very often. His kindness after a incident was always greatly appreciated. Enjoy that big layover you earned. My heart goes out to his family. I know how he loved his grandkids they will miss a great grandpa. I'll remember a great guy. Mike Novak Retired, KK 2145

My heart goes out to the family for their loss. Jerry was considered a top notch kind of man. Easy to get along with and easy to enjoy a laugh with. He was a mellow, kind, big hearted man and I enjoyed talking to him on a daily basis during our working hours. Even though he was a supervisor on the job, he still treated us as friends. He was hard to replace and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Jerry was one of the best MCTS route supervisors that I worked with. He was always fair and always dealt with his co-workers with a good demeanor, and always kept his cool. Jerry will be missed by everyone that he touched. Jerry, simply put, was a cool guy! Wishing the Weber family, all of God's blessings, during their time of grief and need.

On behalf of the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 998 Retiree Chapter, I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to Gerry's family and friends. Gerry was always a friend to me, and one of the best people ever to wear any MCTS uniform. When I was a rookie driver at KK Station in 1978, Gerry was one of the extra clerks who sort of took me under his wing, and gave me the heads up about some of the people there. Gerry was always ready to laugh, ready to be your friend, and never forgot how much family and friends meant to all of us as we continue this journey, sadly now without him.
I will always remember the first time I met him socially at Ruthie's place across the street from KK. I had mentioned a run in with "Duane", and Gerry, just hearing the name, let everyone know in no uncertain terms just what he thought of him! Gerry was that kind of stand up guy.
The lesson we should all take from this sad loss, is I believe: Take a hold of life, never let go! Try to be a person like Gerry Weber. Live like there is no tomorrow, for ever minute on the Planet with loved ones is precious!
I hold up my glass: Gerry, I salute you, and hope to see you again!
God Bless you my friend!
Sincerely;
Keith Nelson
