Gerard Papa Obituary
Milwaukee - Died on April 25th, 2021 at the age of 68. Preceded in death by mother Rose Mary C. Papa and father Louis E. Papa. Survived by his daughter Geralynne S. Papa.
Gerard graduated from Madison High School and received his bachelor's degree in English from Marquette University, and Law degree from University of Montana. He spent his professional career as a Milwaukee County Transit Bus Driver.
Gerard was a former member of St. Jon de Nepomuc Catholic Church, and a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
A viewing will be held at Witkowiak Funeral Home on April 30th, 2021 at 10am, followed by a solemn Requiem Mass at 11am, and burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.

I went to law school with Gerry back in the late 1980s at the University of Montana. Gerry was intelligent, passionate about his politics, and considerate of the opinions of others. We had many interesting conversations over the years. I was sorry to read of his passing.

Geralynne, I am so sorry to hear that your father passed. So young!
My Mom carved many wood carvings for your Dad back in the day and they were friends...when he would come over to see the progress of one of his carvings...He would always give me a word to spell.
