Kontowicz, Gilbert R. Born to Eternal Life April 4, 2016 at the age of 92 years. Beloved husband of the late Victoria (nee Wrobel). Loving father of Kathleen (James) Neitzke, Nancy (Thomas) Wekwert and John (Dawn Harwood). Dear grandfather of Thomas (Susan), Marcus (Kelly), Julie (Christopher), Colleen, Megan (Scott) and great-grandfather of Loren, Macy, Alexis, Emma, Gwyn, Stephanie, Jack and Ella. Brother-in-law of Patricia Wrobel and Audrey Kontowicz. Further survived by other relatives and friends and he will also be missed by his loving pet "Stasiu". Special thanks to neighbors Phil and Randy and the staff of Vitas Ruth Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. Gilbert enjoyed his time as exercise coach at the Wilson Park Senior Center. Visitation Friday, April 8 at the Rozga Funeral Home from 9:30 - 11:15 AM. Funeral Friday at 11:15 AM from the Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:30 AM at the BASILICA OF ST. JOSAPHAT, 601 W. Lincoln Ave. Entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
