Harold P. Wulf

Wulf, Harold P. Age 85, Hartland, WI and Holmes Beach, FL, died November 20, 2012, at Blake Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida. He is dearly missed by his wife of 64 years, Mary Jane, and daughters Christine Schultz, Candice (Gerald) Matykowski, and Cheryl Zimdars. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; Emily (Matt) Thomas, Eric and Ryan Schultz, Anna (Greg) Matykowski, Lauren Matykowski and great-grandsons Cooper and Parker Thomas. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, August and Hildegard, his son-in-law Charlie Zimdars, and his sweet granddaughter Sara Jane Schultz. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Harold attended Milwaukee Boys Tech High School. He spent his entire career with the August H. Wulf Company, a woodworking and cabinet making business founded by Harold's father. After his father's death, Harold maintained the company's tradition as a prominent provider of beautiful woodwork for businesses and family homes throughout the Milwaukee area. Harold enjoyed life with his family on Beaver Lake in Hartland and at their winter home on Anna Maria Island in Florida. He spent countless hours water skiing on Silver Lake, cruising on his pontoon boat around Beaver Lake, and walking the beautiful beaches on Anna Maria Island. He was a member of Chenequa Country Club in Hartland and Bradenton Country Club. Harold was especially proud of his role as a founding member of Divine Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hartland. He was also a former President of Chenequa Country Club and the International Woodworkers of America Association. Harold will be remembered for his extraordinary zest for life, unbridled sense of humor, pride in his daughters and devotion to his wife Mary Jane. He was affectionately known as Papa to his grandchildren and Opa to his great-grandsons. His spirit will live forever on Beaver Lake and Anna Maria Island. A private memorial service was held in Florida.
