Herbert Notbohm Obituary

Of Oconomowoc, May 16, 2006, age 93 years. Loving husband of the late Lorraine. Dear father of Keith (Mary Schneider) and Thomas (Heidi) Notbohm. Grandfather of Lauren, Gabriel, Andrew, Jacob and Elissa. Fond brother of Viola (Quentin) Douglas and Gertrude Gaston. Former husband of Agnes Notbohm.

Herb was the outstanding citizen of Oconomowoc in 1985. He was a member and past secretary of the Oconomowoc Legion Band. Member of St. Matthew's Ev. Lutheran Church, choir member, usher, church council and past president of the church. He was a life member of the Lac La Belle Country Club, Olympia Golf Club and Paganica Golf Club. Herb was a charter member and past president of the Oconomowoc Lions Club. He was a third generation owner and operator of Notbohm Furniture and Funeral Home. Herb was a member of the Wisconsin and National Funeral Directors Association.

Friends may visit 4PM to 7PM on Thursday at the Funeral Home and at St. Matthew's Ev. Lutheran Church, 818 W. Wisconsin Ave. in Oconomowoc Friday, 12:30 PM until time of Service at 1:30 PM.

Memorials to the Oconomowoc Lions Club or AngelsGrace Hospice appreciated. Final rest, Town of Summit Cemetery.
