Ingrid J. Mielke

1937 - 2017

Mielke, Ingrid J. Of West Bend and formerly of Menomonee Falls, passed away Thursday morning October 12, 2017 at the age of 80, at New Perspective Senior Living, where she resided for the past two years. Ingrid was born on August 16, 1937 in Berlin, Germany. In April of 1957 she married Klaus Mielke. They built a home in Menomonee Falls where they raised their family and lived happily for many years. Klaus preceded her in death July 28, 2012. Ingrid was a wonderful housekeeper and loved to bake. Her "top secret" cookie recipe was used to make many treats to distribute to all her friends and family for many occasions. She loved to dance and taught line dancing and water aerobics well into her 70's. Beloved mother of Margit (Mark Helminger) Wicklund of Adell, and Michael (Lori) Mielke of Ellison Bay. Loving grandma of Andrea (John) Schladensky of Las Vegas, NV, Tamara (Bobby) Gray of Dubuque, IA, Jackelyn Wicklund of Plymouth, Nicole (Jason) Gregorious of Milwaukee, Sara (Jon) Yauck of Litchfield Park, AZ and Heather (Chris) Singer of Menomonee Falls. Great-grandma of Dylan and Summer Schladensky, Milo Wicklund, Tyler and Addison Yauck, Austin and Brayden Singer. Further survived by her two brothers, Klaus and Gunther Bork of Canada, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 55 years Klaus, her grandson Matthew Mielke, two brothers Kurt and Joachim Bork and a sister Christl Robichaud. Private services will be held on October 26.
