My mom, Dolores Wozniak Tilk, wishes to send you her condolences. She worked with Isabelle at the VA in the 1940's and used to see her smiling face at Our Lady for Sunday mass. My mom said she was always happy go lucky except for one Sunday when they cried together after Isabelle told my mom that her grandson had died in Iraq while in the service. She was a wonderful lady who is thought of fondly. God bless her! My mom doesn't get around much anymore or she would have gone to Isabelle's funeral.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I haven't seen your mom or the kids in years (since the OLGH reunion), but I sure have fond memories of your mom and you all from the old days growing up in the Rochelle/Valanna neighborhood. I am sorry for your loss.

Luanne and I heard about Izzy's passing from a mutual friend at OLGH parish. We won't be able to attend the celebration of her life as we're still down in south Texas for the winter...but we will be with all the family in prayer in spirit. My thoughts especially go out to all my former baseball players--John, Mark, Brian and Bob. All those seasons that your Dad and I coached together will never be forgotten...a very special time in both our lives. We are better people for having had Al and Izzy and the whole Kaelin family as part of our lives...

Anyone who knew Izzy, knows that she was "one of a kind". Many a family gathering were filled with laughter when Izzy was there. I now wonder if Alpine Village closed because she is no longer here? My deepest sympthathies to My brother-in -law John, my sister Kathy, my neices Katie and Kari,as well as the rest of the Kaelin family. I know there wiil be a huge void in your lives. Her and Al are probably doing a polka up in heaven :)
