Jim was a great guy: nice, funny, and unaffected.--My 2¢-worth.--I only knew him from very occasional brief talks we/others had at Caledonia PD, when he & Trooper Mike Taczala & sometimes Jeff Swan would drop by for coffee.--I was a 3rd-shift copper there '80-'86. Think I talked to Jimmy later at the State Fair when he hosted the WSP booth too.--God Bless Him! One of the too few good-guys...Was going to the wake with my pal Tommy Simons but was ill. Should've gone to honor him & meet his proud Family.
