Janis B. "Jen" Wolf

Wolf, Janis B. "Jen" Janis B. Wolf of Bayside, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018, at the age of 69. Born in Chicago, IL, the beloved daughter of the late Andrew Edward Wolf, Jr. and Shirley (nee Giessen) Wolf. Sister of Scott Andrew Wolf of Sugar Grove, IL. Jan was a valued employee of Zilber Ltd. for over 40 years and and a paralegal when she retired in 2015. She enjoyed traveling, especially in Europe. She was a master at crossword puzzles and Sudoku and an avid reader. Occasions spent sharing good food and laughter with close friends were some of her happiest times. During her many years of Lake Michigan sailing, she preferred fair weather but handled whatever came her way with poise and grace; that can be said about her approach to life in general. Jan will be deeply missed! Jan was grateful for the support of loving friends, Judy Gertsma, Carol McNeil and Mark Madigan, her oncologist John Burfeind, the staff at Froedtert Hospital and Rodney Hill who made her many trips there and back enjoyable. Family and friends will gather in Jan's honor on Wednesday, May 23, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Feerick Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
