My sincere condolences to Uncle Curt, Chip, Cindy, Mary and their families.
I remember Aunt Jean as the person who was always ready to host or be a part of parties and family gatherings.
I see that this obituary was first printed in today’s Milwaukee Journal -November 22, 2020. Today is also the 23rd anniversary of my Mom’s passing.
I believe my Mom, Aunt Cora, Uncle Ralph and Aunt Ellen were all right there welcoming Aunt Jean home.
I can now imagine Jean busy orchestrating a Nitz family reunion!!
For Uncle Curt and entire family, I for you to find peace and comfort in recalling and embracing the love and fun-filled memories of Jean.
In Peace and Love,
Chris Rode

Curt and family,
You were blessed with such a beautiful wife and mother, and grandmother. What a darling person Jean was. I loved being around her so much, and am very thankful to have met her when we lived in Mequon. Rest in peace, dear friend. You are with your Lord and Savior now, and all is well. Love, Karen and Chuck Clark
And how I loved your favorite toast! Here's to you...... ;)

Aunt Jean was a shining light in our extended family. A glint in her eye, a bit of mischief in her smile, she was always ready for a laugh. Over the years, she and Uncle Curt set a wonderful example of the importance of family. My sincere condolences to Uncle Curt, Chip, Cindy, Mary, and their families. Aunt Jean was a blessing to many.
