Plotkowski, Jeanette G. (Nee Victor) Passed to Eternal Life July 20, 2017 at age 102. Born to parents Andrew and Cecelia December 30, 1914 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Longtime resident of West Allis, currently resided in Wauwatosa. Preceded in death by her loving husband Eugene 52 years ago. Also preceded in death by her 11 siblings. Jeanette is survived by loving daughter Janel (James) Ruzicka, her 'favorite' granddaughter Jocelyn Ruzicka, her 'favorite' grandson Jonathan (Catherine) Ruzicka, and their son, the newest love of her life, great-grandson Calvin. Further survived by nieces, nephews and friends. Jeanette was the first member of her family to graduate from high school, where she played varsity basketball. She attended Wilkes-Barre Business College, and first worked as Secretary to the Purchasing Agent of a large grocery chain, then advancing to become the first woman in the history of the firm to hold the Purchasing Agent position. Jeanette and husband Eugene were WWII pen pals, first meeting after the war. They married in 1947 and moved to Eugene's hometown of Milwaukee. She continued her working career as an Executive Secretary for several firms until her retirement in 1982. This allowed her to devote attention to her young grandchildren. Jeanette was an avid sports fan, closely following the Bucks, Packers and Brewers. Special thank you to the Assisted Living staff at Harwood Place in Wauwatosa for their loving care and friendship.
