I remember Fr. Jeffery as a student with the Mercedarian Friars. He was part of a group of 10 new postulants that entered in August 1977. We attended Niagara University and he was well liked by all whom he met.
His ability to play the organ in chapel enhanced our liturgical celebrations. Jeffery was a good cook and baker as well. He was very supportive of his fellow postulants and novices. His love of the church and Our Lady of Mercy was awe inspiring.
Rest well in the peace of heaven you good and faithful servant of Jesus.

I have such fun memories of Jeff. He was a dear friend of my brother, John, in high school and beyond. Jeff spent countless hours at our house and we spent countless hours laughing with him. We are so blessed to have known him.

Prayers for a wonderful priest. I always loved his homilies. Right down to earth and occasionally funny...but got his point across...what a wonderful Easter weekend to be headed HOME! My sympathies to family members, friends and parish members. I now live in Illinois, but I will be coming to MPHWA for my final journey HOME....

Dear Prasser Family,
Please accept our condolences for your loss. I was so excited to see Father Jeff last July when he was asked by family to play at our mom Mary Corfeld's funeral. He willingly agreed ! He played so beautifully & I remembered him playing in his home across the street from us where we all grew up in the city of Milwaukee. It was a good reunion! We were both happy to see each other. I told my young nieces that I used to babysit for Jeffery & his twin when they were much younger. Our family has many memories of Jeff & his family . We wish you all peace. He will not be forgotten. It is our pleasure to have known him. Love, Jean ( Corfeld ) & Jay Bubrick

My sympathy to the family and friends of Father Jeff. I was blessed to work with him at Mary Queen of Saints Catholic Academy. He was very committed to the success of the school. I always marveled at his knowledge of the lives of the Saints. Now he is free of pain and celebrating Holy Week in heaven.

Dear Prasser Family,
Bill and I were deeply saddened to hear of Father Jeff's passing.
The Prassers were our neighbors on 26th St. in Milwaukee and classmates at St. Agnes Grade School.
Father Jeff played piano at the funeral of our mother, Mary Corfeld, at St. Joseph Church in Wauwatosa, last year. Father Jeff also officiated at the funeral of our uncle, Oscar Creuzer, at St. Catherine of Alexandria.
Please accept our deepest sympathies.
Sincerely,
Kathleen and Bill Meyer

Fr. Jeff was a huge blessing to our family at St. Catherine of Alexandria back in the day. There´s an ancient prayer for deceased priests:
O God, Thou didst raise Thy servant, Jeffery Prasser, to the sacred priesthood of Jesus Christ, according to the Order of Melchisedech, giving him the sublime power to offer the Eternal Sacrifice, to bring the Body and Blood of Thy Son Jesus Christ down upon the altar, and to absolve the sins of men in Thine own Holy Name. We beseech Thee to reward his faithfulness and to forget his faults, admitting him speedily into Thy Holy Presence, there to enjoy forever the recompense of his labours. This we ask through Jesus Christ Thy Son, our Lord. Amen.
