May the many touching memories of Jeff help you through this sad and difficult time. Jeff's kindness, humor and friendliness illuminated everyone who was fortunate to know him. As co-workers at Wisconsin Bell and later AT&T, Jeff and I would not see each other for years because our careers had taken different paths. However, everytime I was privileged to run into Jeff, my day was brightened and my outlook on things was improved. Jeff's warmth and kindness had the ability to transcend time and distance. That's a rare gift. He was truly a wonderful man who was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Wendy and family,
My deepest sympathy to you at this terribly sad, sad time in your life. I had the pleasure of knowing Jeff for nearly 30 years since the Wisconsin Telephone days. And although we wouldn't see each other for sometimes several years, each time we worked together or ran into each other, it always seemed just as familiar as those first days of knowing him. He had a way of making you always feel comfortable because of his easy-going nature. I truly enjoyed the many conversations we had on history and historical events - he was such a wealth of knowledge on this topic. His death is a great loss to anyone who knew him. Take comfort in the fact that he will now be watching over and looking out for you.

We are friends of Ed Sr. and Mina. We haven't seen the Vickers children for many years but know the kind of close, supportive and loving family that now surrounds Wendy and her children. We grieve along with you and Ed and Mina as parents. It's very difficult to lose a child. We pray the Easter Blessings will be a reminder to you all and comfort you each year at this time.

Wendy and Family - We were so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. I have known him for years as a boss, co-worker and a friend. He had the best sense of humor, and the warmest heart. I truely enjoyed sitting beside him at work and playing golf with him. Especially the time it rained and we were at the 16th hole wet from head to toe and it started to lightening. I wanted to leave Jeff said there are only 2 holes left. Anyone that had the opportunity to know Jeff was blessed and we are all better for having known him. Our deepest sympathy to all of you.

Jeff was a wonderful manager. I had the privilege to work for Jeff for about a year at AT&T. He was kind and compassionate, knowledgable and fair, humorous and ethical. People enjoyed to be around him. He held a Christmas party at his & Wendy's home for his employees, which was always a nice time. I also recall his pitching at the company softball games. He truly loved to play ball. Everything he did, he did with heart. He will be truly missed. May God grant you peace and consolation in the knowledge that he has been called Home and is now enjoying Eternal Life in Heaven.
