Joan M. Colman
Whitefish Bay - Born on January 20, 1932 to Frederick Ruenzel and Eva Huebsch and entered into heaven on February 8, 2021 at the age of 89. Longtime resident of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. She graduated from Milwaukee University School and worked as a secretary for insurance and real estate appraisal businesses. She dearly loved get-togethers, her pets, and reminiscing about trips. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Forbes Coleman, two step daughters, Susie and Nan, and her nephew David Ruenzel. Joanie is survived by her brother Frederick R. Ruenzel and sister Breta L. Landy. "Aunt Joanie" will be greatly missed by nieces, nephews, neighbors, many dear friends, and all of their families. Memorial service will be deferred until summer of 2021 in the hope of being able to gather in person. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Joan Colman's name can be made to Wisconsin Humane Society, 4500 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53208 or North Shore Congregational Church, 7330 N. Santa Monica Blvd, Fox Point, WI 53217.
