I am truly sorry for the loss of your mother. I met her, through golf, many years ago. She was a kind and generous lady, always willing to give of her time and boundless energy, even to knitting several caps to cover my unexpected hair loss. She shall be missed by many. May your memories of her sustain you all at this difficult time.

We are so sorry to hear of Aunt Joan's passing. She was very loved by all who knew her and will be very missed, but her legacy will live on through her wonderful children and grandchildren. Our prayers are with the Henderson Clan today and always.
We are very sorry we were unable to attend the services today, but Brian is not feeling up to it. He has COPD and it has really been flaring up the last few days.

I had the privilege of becoming Joan's friend through Gaenslen's ABK weaving classes. We first met about 5 years ago. What a dear heart and gentle soul. I'm so very sorry to hear of her unexpected death. It especially seems unreal, for I was weaving right next to her during this winter session. Joan was always upbeat, a joy to weave beside. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and I treasured her. She was never afraid to try anything on the loom. My deepest sympathy to your family. During this time may you be surrounded by the love and support of so many friends and family. And may treasured memories of Joan sustain you all during this difficult time.

We were looking foreward to traveling with her again this year on our Hudson River trip. My sincere condolences on the loss of this vibrant, lovely woman. We will miss her and her infectious smile. I pray for peace and comfort for my cousins Jody, Craig, Holly and Amy that their mom is now reunited with Uncle Bill in heaven.

I sincerely wish I could be there.

I will always remember Joan for her visits to the Wisconsin Park & Recreation Association office where she stopped by regularly when involved with our "retiree section"... she was always so positive and upbeat about the profession and her family, and how proud she was that her daughter, Holly followed in her footsteps in selecting her career.

My heartfelt condolences to Holly and the other members of Joan's family...she will be deeply missed.
