Wheiland, Joan L. (Nee Burbach) Of GRAFTON. April 19, 2013, age 80 years. Beloved wife of John. Loving mother of Christopher, John Jr., the late Thomas, Joanne (Gary) Backhaus, James (Judy), and Joseph (Anne). Dear sister of Charles (Eleanor) Burbach and Richard (Donna) Burbach. Dear sister-in-law of Howard Meyers and Lee Sniegowski. Preceded in death by 3 sisters Katherine, Margaret and Carol. Further survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great- grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial Friday, April 26, 4 PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 145 W. Church St., Saukville. Family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 2 - 3:45PM and at the reception following Mass. Memorials to the church or St. Vincent de Paul appreciated.

Mr. Wheiland and family: I left Wisconsin 30 years ago, but have never forgotten you as our neighbors. I heard of Mrs. Wheiland's passing and was saddened. I know words cannot help you with the pain of your loss. I am only hoping and praying that you know we are thinkking about you all during ths difficult time. My God take her in his home and show her heaven. A place we all aspire to go to one day. All our prayers, and condolences to you all.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have lots of memories growing up on 9th Avenue of Joan and family. I know what it is to loose your Mom. May you remember all the happy times and find comfort it them. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you.
