So much has transpired since last we spoke, and since returning to Texas especially.....I had no idea you´d passed.
In 2016 and in `17, I sent a note, addressed to you and Debbie, saying hi, thanking you for the great conversations, and for what you´d added to my life there in Milwaukee, my second hometown.
I also let you know of some challenges I´d encountered, of a totally unexpected and foreign to me, nature. It was a comforting feeling just reaching out to you both; I longed for the normally of my life, and the certainly the richness it had added for me being there in too many ways to mention.
It is a strange feeling knowing that you´d already gone to the "other side" when I wrote to you.
I would give anything to sit down with a cup of coffee, or a glass of Amorone, and talk all of this through. Your smile is forever part of the warmth in my heart. Thank you again old friend.
