John S. "Hutch" Engelbart

Engelbart, John S. "Hutch" Went to be with his parents in Heaven on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the age of 86 after a courageous battle with cancer. John is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Marie "Micki" (nee Geib); children, Mike (Mary), Mark (Lonnie), Cheryl Engelbart-Wheeler and Mary Anne (Eddie) Gonzalez, 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, as well as his sisters; Helen (Bill) Mente, Mary Lee Muntner and brothers; Ken (Nancy) and Ted (Pat). He was preceded to Heaven by his father and mother, Siegfried and Augusta, brother, Harold (Barbara) and sister, Lillian (Jim) Schauer. John will by dearly missed by all the people he touched daily with his kind demeanor and humor on a daily basis, as well as the countless families he assisted with home improvement projects. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 15, at ST. MARGARET MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 3970 N. 92nd St., Milwaukee from 10 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park. The next time you hear thunder you'll know that Hutch is bowling in Heaven.
