May Perpetual Light Shine Upon Him.

May 12, 2011

Dear Hickey Family,

We are so sorry for your loss. When I think of John, I think of what a kind man he was. I always looked forward to seeing him at the many social events that David and Jane hosted. He was so upbeat and pleasant to be around and instilled those qualities in his children and grandchildren.

Everytime I hear "Notre Dame", I will say a special prayer in his honor to thank God for having known this man of substance.

Our deepest sympathy to all of you.

Dear Hickey Family,
This to me speaks volumes of the goodness of Mr Hickey....

Every time after our family gatherings: my Dad would always leave with a smile and state: "That John!" What a beautiful guy!

Dear Aunt Gerry, Mary Bridget, John, Ann, Tom, Kerry, Julie, and David,

Please accept my deepest condolences. I grieve with you. Your Dad was a wonderful man, my Dad's best friend, and my godfather. I will always remember his enthusiasm and his love of family. In your sadness you keep your faith alive. He has been called home.
