So miss Johnny! Just the other day I was wanting to call him. He supported me through hard times. Even though he was hurting he still reached out.

My heart goes out to the family of Johnny Miller. He was a long time friend of mine from the music and art scene of Madison, and could always be found at the most fun, vibrant, and even obscure events. Johnny often taped my performance art, his video being often the only documentation created. I am forever grateful to him for that, and for the many laughs, conversations and smiles we shared. I truly enjoyed his friendship and his passing leaves a deep sadness in many. My sincerest condolences to the family.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. John will always be in our hearts and it is comforting to know that he is in paradise with the Lord where we will rejoin him someday when our time comes. John and I attended and graduated Marquette High together.

I am so sorry to hear of Johnny's departure. My condolences go out to his family and friends. His love of music always brought him out to the festivals in Madison and it was always great to talk to him. I was fortunate to cut his great head of hair. My thoughts are with you all.
Sincerely,

John was a dear friend in high school. His wit, ability to play, and creativity were a delight to be around. He co-authored "The Book of Lies" which brought great laughter to many. He starred in a very hokey but fun to short movie: https://app.box.com/s/j46p05p9a8945og41nh5g6sg3z4az9eb .
God be with him!

Wow. So sorry to hear the news.
I spent a lot of time with John in High School and then at Marquette Univ (Engineering).
John had a quirky sense of humor. I guess 'Monty-Python meets Woody Allen' is the nearest description I can think of.
I remember he was a good friend and really smart guy.
My thoughts and prayers to his family.

Everywhere there was music, there was Johnny. So I'll miss him at every show, elbow to elbow or waving from where he set up his camera.
My deepest prayers go to Johnny and his family.
Our wry, generous, and loving friend is missed already.
