My last conversation with Jack was on December 27th. He called to reassure me that he would make a gift to help feed the needy. He was consistent in his support of our work. He was gracious when I returned his call. I have a great memory of our first meeting some four years ago. He was very curious about the meaning of life. I regret deeply that I was just now informed of Jack's death. Having lost a parent I offer my deepest sympathy to Jack's family for their loss.

Please accept my sincere condolences on behalf of the African American Children's Theatre. I would like to thank Mr. Rosenberg for his continued generosity. Mr. Rosenberg displayed a commitment to the community that inspired those around him. His commitment to the youth of our community will continue to have a positive influence for many years to come. He was and will continue to be our "angel".

I feel deeply saddened that such a wonderful spirit has left us. Jack was so generous with himself and to so many social justice issues, especially the Benedict Center. He will be more than missed, there will be an empty place in many hearts with his passing.
