Since I could write a book about our friendship, I'm going to instead say what a truly special friend he was. I knew him since about '94 and we remained friends forever. I these post-college years, we grew up and confided in each other and both learned alot. Jon never proselytized his religion and always respected others' spirituality. I am sorry to everyone involved in this early death. However, I can only feel comforted for having known him and of his own spiritual nature. In the later years, he was enduring increasing levels of pain as his affliction got worse. While I am disappointed he is gone, I am comforted to know he is not suffering further pain. May our God bless Jon in the finest way - we all miss him so much!

Mike just called me and told me about your terrible loss. I remember what a wonderful friend Jon was to Mike when we lived on Glendale and what a delightful little boy he was. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy and our prayers are with you.

Dear Donna and Lisa,
Both Janice and I were truly saddened by your loss. I had the fortune of working with both Jon as well as his father. Again, at a time like this, what else can be said other than please accept our sincerest sympathies and prayers. He will be missed, but his memory will live forever.

Mrs. Resek,
My mom and I were both shocked and brought to tears when we read about Jon. I will never forget all of the great times we had while in high school. The say you never forget your Prom and I sure haven't forgotten about my date.
