We had so few men to mentor our boys in our neighborhood when we were coming up. We thank God for the kindness your Dad showed to the children and the time he took to provide mentoring to the young fellows who were growing up without fathers.
We especially remember those delicious pastelles!

I will always remember your father who was a good friend to my parents(Maria and Gerardo Perez). We lived up on Wisconsin Ave. on the Pabst Mansion grounds my 4 brothers and I back in the late 50's thru the 70's. We spent many Thanksgiving together and at Mitchell park when are dads played baseball.
We loved to jumped on your dad and rough house with him. He was strong and yet so gentle. He was a fine role model for us boys growing up. He was one of my dad's male friends who we looked up to. I won't forget him. Much peace to you all in this tough time. Let Bryan know we asked about him too.

Please except my heartfelt condolences for your loss of your father, Grand-Father, Great Grand Father and friend. In your time of need may God grand you comfort and peace of mind. I have not seen Jose SR. for an awhile but talked to him an few years ago. I have warm memories of him when I was younger growing up in Milwaukee and have nothing but admiration and respect for him. Quinones Family please be at peace knowing that your Dad is no longer suffering but smiling down at all of you in amazement because you made him proud in your life's accomplishments.
