To the family of Dr. Grieshop,
Before I moved to Florida, I worked at St. Francis Hospital, in the medical record room, under the care of the good nun, Sister Laurentine.
We would hear someone in the front office, and there he was, smiling, and ready to do his charts. He would have a cup of coffee with us, the transcriptionists, and chat while doing his charts.
I also had the honor of having him perform two major surgeries on me, one regular and one emergency. I recommended him also to many of my friends and relatives, and they loved him also.
When I saw that he died, I said a prayer for someone who was a great person and a great physician.
Thank you all for sharing him with us in this lifetime. God bless all of you and help you through this great loss.

To the Grieshop family,
I worked with Dr. Joe for many years at WAMH. He was the only physician I'd see when I worked nights.I rememeber how proud he was when he talked about "Richard" coming to join the practice. There will always be a special place in my heart for him, for he was both a wonderful person and surgeon. I'm sorry for your lose.

It was a privilege to work with Dr. G as an RN at West Allis Memorial Hospital for 25+ years. He always treated his patients and his coworkers with the greatest respect and professionalism. Regards and deepest sympathy to the family.

To the Grieshop Family,
Dr G was a wonderful human being and physician. He always had a kind word for all-even at 3am doing an emergency surgery. He was a great teacher!
