Menomonee Falls - Joe ended his 89-year travel through life on January 26th in peace not far from his home of six decades in Menomonee Falls. He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Guinivere (Nee Tresidder); Children Michael (Bonnie), Chris, Tim (Cindy), Terry, (Gladys), Wendee (Jim) Nitz and Ellen (David) Sellnow; Grandchildren Eric (Kim), Stephen (Stephanie), Nathan (Laurie), Adam (Laura), Jonathan (Katie), Melissa (Kevin), Lindsay (Craig), Jeffrey (Kaitlyn), Bethanee (Travis), Hannah, Rhyomi (Joe), Silas (Kimberly) & Kyrie; Along with 15 Great Grandchildren and one Great-Great Grandchild; Further survived by sister Marilyn Mayr as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

His love of numbers and eye out for a bargain entertained and amused him after many years as a Trust Officer at First Wisconsin in Milwaukee (later US Bank). He will be remembered for his passion for his 9-foot antique pool table and love of Lionel trains. His wry sense of humor and wit could be demonstrated on occasion by his willingness to argue about just about anything. Joe will be greatly missed by all. No services are currently planned. A memorial gathering will be planned at a later date.

Joe taught me 'his love of numbers' at First Wisc./Firstar Trust Co. He was my direct boss for a number of years and was a good teacher. He will always be remembered by me and my family with fondness. God Bless you Joe!
