Jovanka Culum

Culum, Jovanka (Nee Galic ) Passed away November 5, 2016 at age 81. She is preceded in death by her husband Jandrija Culum, her parents, 8 siblings, and 3 small children. Beloved mother of Stojanka (Miodrag) Sulejic, Branka Filep, Zora (Richard) Szada, and Darinka (Nikola) Sever. Proud grandmother of Milanka Sulejic (Predrag Zelembaba), Mihajlo Sulejic, Nicole (Michael) Carpentier, Michael (Georgia) Filep, Amanda Szada, Angie (John) Szada-Hansen, Mirko Sever, Jandrija Sever, Mile Sever, and Jelena Sever. Great-grandmother of Aleksandar Zelembaba, Genisa Filep, Elena Carpentier, and Aleksandra Carpentier. Dear sister of Dusanka Miljevic of Prijedor, Republika Srpska. She is further survived by Kumovi, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Although Jovanka had no formal education, she was one of the most intelligent and wise individuals many people came to love. She loved her children and grandchildren more than life itself. Jovanka enjoyed gardening, knitting, sewing, and making food for her grandchildren. She was a very humble and holy individual who gave of herself for everyone. She was very proud of all that her children and grandchildren accomplished. She was a member of Kolo Srpski Sestara. Visitation will be held Tuesday (today) at St. Sava Serbian Othodox Cathedral (S. 51st & W. Oklahoma Ave. Milwaukee) beginning at 11:00 AM until time of service 12 Noon. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery Oak Creek.
