June Patricia Rado

Rado, June Patricia Was called home to Heaven on Wednesday, November 5, 2014. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on September 27, 1954 to Florence A. (Lietzke) Rado and John Rado. Despite having cerebral palsy, June graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a degree in medical records. A few weeks before the graduation ceremony, on a rainy November evening in 1989, June was severely injured when she was struck by a car as she crossed one of the streets near the college campus. After the accident, June was lovingly cared for by her parents for 9 years. After she suffered a series of mini-strokes, June moved to Wisconsin Lutheran Care Center (k/n/a Milwaukee Estates) where she lived for the past 16 years. June is survived by her mother, Florence A. Rado and step-father, Richard Rado of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sister Christine (John) Stark; brother Kurt (Lori) Rado; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. June was preceded in death by her father John Rado and her brother, Richard Rado. Visitation at the Funeral Home, Sunday, November 9, 2-4PM. Funeral Service 4PM. Private burial. The family wishes to thank Judy Melahn and Heather Zutz and the entire staff of Milwaukee Estates for their many kindnesses and for the wonderful care they gave June through the years.
