Karen M. Eurich
Germantown - (nee Sandvick) received the Easter promise as she was peacefully called home to be with her loving Savior on April 5, 2021. She was blessed with the most caring heart, genuine spirit, and zeal for life and service towards others. All of her days were spent surrounded by her loving and adoring friends and family.
The Lord sure knew what he was doing when he blessed Llyod and Gladys Sandvick with a beautiful baby girl in 1937. Together they raised a loving family which included Karen's loving brothers Karl (Kim) and Jim (Pam). She often spoke fondly of the simple joys of her childhood and especially loved her times at Lutheran High (Milwaukee Lutheran).
Karen is preceded in death by the love of her life, Raymond. Early on during their time together at Luther High, Ray saw what everyone else did in Karen, and chased after her heart every day of his life. The high school sweethearts shared a love that is unmatched in this world. So much so, that you can almost feel the joy that there is in heaven as the two are reunited.
They loved their time at Lutheran High and maintained close relationships with their classmates throughout the years. Karen always looked forward to having a great time at "club" with her dearly loved friends.
Together Ray and Karen raised four loving children, Jeff (Sheila), Cindy (Bill Kerlin), John (Chris), Chris (Mickie). Whenever any of their names were mentioned, you could see a loving glow on her face as she loved each of them exactly as they are.
Karen was the proud grandma of 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren who fittingly referred to her as great-ma, because that's what she was! Never missing a sporting event, birthday, or any chance to surprise them with one of her delicious homemade desserts. Great-ma was simply the best!
Life will never be the same without her here with us. But, even greater than our sorrow is the true hope and joy we share in knowing that we too will receive the Easter promise and be reunited with our Savior together.
