My deep condolences for your loss.
I remember Dr and Mrs Eva Epperson as well as little Grace and baby Paul. My mother was Maria Klein who helped care for the little ones for a few years.
Our family was heartbroken after learning of the fire.
I´m glad to know that Dr Epperson had a long and productive career and that the family stayed together.

I also am a radiology tech who was very fond of Dr. Epperson. Everyone loved working with him. He inspired us to give the high level of patient care that he also gave.

Praying for your family as you mourn the loss of such a wonderful man. Dr. Epperson was always my favorite radiologist and one that I haven't forgotten in the years since leaving St. Mary's. I had the opportunity to work with him for ten years. First as a brand new x-ray student and then as a tech. Dr. Epperson was always so kind to his patients, the technologists and also to all the new students in Radiology. I can picture his smirk as he'd so politely ask me to change the spelling of a word on a history form!
He has truly touched my life and I'll be forever thankful to have known such a special man. I hope to meet him again one day in heaven.
I pray that you'll take comfort in knowing that Dr. Epperson has touched so many lives and was a joy to work with.
Sympathies from my family to yours~

I heard the sad news today of Dr. Eppersons passing. He was an extraordinary person with an amazing talent. I had the privelage of learning under him as an Xray student and then working with him for 16 years as a technologist. He taught me something new everyday. He made me laugh everyday. He helped so many people in so many ways. He will surely be missed by all who knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I hope you will take comfort in knowing he touched so many lives in so many ways. What an amazing person he was. God Bless!

I worked for Dr. Epperson back in the early 1970's at the "old" St. Mary's. I typed reports for him in Radiology for a couple of years. He was always funny and kind.

So it is with profound sadness that I find I am writting this to you.
Dr. Epperson was a great man. I worked with him at CSM for 16 years, and learned so much from him, especially when it came to proper English. LOL!
Kidding aside, I was also blessed to see another side of him. I had to go to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Mn. for some horrific testing and ironically Dr. Epperson was scheduled there for his annual physical. Dr. Epperson knowing what a nervous wreck I was, took my husband and I under his wing while we were there. It was so great to see a friendly face in such odd circumstances. I will forever be grateful to him for that.
In one's life, you may be considered blessed when you count special people
such as Dr.Epperson as your dad, husband, friend, and colleague. For the family of Dr.Epperson, please accept our deepest sympathies and know we are all mourning with you. I will be carrying my fondest memories of him with me and hope that you may do the same to get through this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sincerely,
