Kenneth Yontz Obituary

Yontz, Kenneth F. Indian Wells, CA. Kenneth F. Yontz passed away peacefully on November 24, 2016 with his loving wife, Linda Damiano, by his side. He was born in Sandusky, Ohio on July 21, 1944. He became a successful business leader while raising a wonderful family. He was very influential at major companies including Ford Motor, Chemetron, Allen Bradley, and Sybron International which brought his family to Ann Arbor, Chicago, Montclair and Milwaukee. Ken was fortunate enough to give generously to many charitable causes, most notably the Karen Yontz Women's Heart Center he founded in memory of his late wife, and the Yontz Valor Foundation to help our wounded military heroes and their families. In addition, he served on several charitable boards including Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, St. Luke's Medical Center and The Boys and Girls Club of America. While he had an incredible passion for golf, his true passions were his family, friends and giving to those in need. Ken is survived by his wife, his forever love, Linda, daughters Terri and Christine (Russ), son Michael (Denise), stepson Evan (Ashleigh), grandchildren Zachary, Joshua, Matthew, Andrew, Lauren, Wyatt, Casey and great-grandchild, Nora. He is also survived by his dear sister Barbara(William), nephews Craig (Lisa), Todd (Amy), and niece Stacy. Ken was preceded in death by his parents Dorothy and Kenneth Yontz, his youngest daughter, Jennifer and his former wives, Karen and Jean. A celebration of Ken's life for family and friends to be held on January 15th at 2pm at The Vintage Club, Indian Wells CA. Donations can be made in Ken's memory to Yontz Valor Foundation, c/o Terri Miller 26215 Birch Bluff Rd Excelsior, Mn 55331.

December 24, 2016

I had the privilege of doing some work for Ken Yontz. He was a true rags to riches success story. He was an intelligent man, and possessed the rare combination of wealth, generosity and good taste. I felt a sense of pride that he made his home in the Oconomowoc area. A truly cool dude.

I had the good fortune to play golf with Mr. Yontz when he was President of Allen Bradley Electonic Div. I admired him for his fortitude for providing products to the Distribution program. He will always be one my heros in the Electronics distribution Industry. James W. Banovich, CEO Marsh Electronics, MKE, Wi.
