Keno Samudio Obituary

Samudio, Keno B. Entered into Eternal Life on Monday, June 30, 2014, at the age of 84. Beloved husband and best friend of Mary (nee Solis) for 54 years. Cherished father of Anna Street, Laura (the late Mark) McIntyre-Kelly and Patricia (Pablo) Samudio Tejeda. Loving grandfather of Jennifer (Tony) Talavera, Sara, Marie and Kevin Street, Andrew (Michelle) Molina, Larissa (Brandon) Smith, Benjamin and Liliana Samudio, Francisco and Isabel Tejeda. Brother of Frank (Rosa) Samudio. Further survived by 10 great - grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his son, Paul and daughter, Monica, parents Pablo and Manuela (nee Vasquez), his brother Manuel and sister, Paula. Keno served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired from Wilbert Burial Vault Co. after 30 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time up north at Long Lake. A special thank you to the staffs at Zablocki VA Medical Center and Compassionate Care Hospice for their loving care of our father in his final days. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Diabetes or American Heart Association would be appreciated. Visitation at St. John Paul II Parish - St. Helen Church, 3329 S. 10th St., on Monday, July 7, from 9:30 - 10:45 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Private interment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
