Larry was truly a giant in the history of Blacks in Milwaukee. He's leadership with Triple O was a major part of the foundation for what is today's black community. I can't say enough to do justice to his contributions to the progress we have made.

My condolences to the family. I also knew Larry back in the late 60's, early 70's. I have always remembered and respected his dedication to bettering the lives of people in Milwaukee. I also remember his great sense of humor. He was a great man.

Larry was a true solider, warrior, and a general for justice and inclusion of the have-nots of our community. He served as a both a leader and mentor to young activists who wanted to "push the envelope" for positive social, economic, and political change in Milwaukee. He will be remembered for a job well done.

It was my privilege to walk by Larry's side, both literally during open housing marches and figuratively with Triple O and later in other groups. Larry was a beacon of light and enlightenment. I learned so much from him. May he rest in peace. To the family, your husband and father was someone to be very proud of. My thoughts are with you. May you find peace through memories.
