Because of the closeness of our parents as siblings, while growing up Lee Jr. was like a big brother as well as a cousin. As with the other cousins that have past on, it is like a part of me that is gone. Lee Jr. rest well, you deserve it. I will surely miss you. Love you man.

Lee Jr and I had our moments...., but I will never forget how kind he really was to me throughout the years. He was special, he was funny, he could be exasperating, but he was always there. I loved him and will miss him. Lord, thank you for the chance to know him and for the influence he's had in my life and the life of our children. Rest in Peace, brother-in-law.

Leesa, your dad was my very first boss! He gave me my first job at Faith Church when I was 15 years old and taught me what employment was. He teased me most of my life about my speaking lisp and he had one too! He was a wonderful employer! Wishing much Love & strength to the McGhee Family.

My sincere condolences to the McGhee Family. I have known Lee and his family for many years, since the 1950s from our years at St. Boniface parish. I will never forget the good times Lee, his brother Kenny, and I had during our years at St. Boniface and as teenagers. Lee was very involved in the Civil Rights struggle. He and I and our late friend Vada Harris walked the picket lines during the 1960s with Father Groppi. I last saw Lee when I visited Milwaukee last October. He wasn't feeling well at the time, but he always had a smile and hug for you. He is gone, but not forgotten. Rest in peace Lee.

Well my friend your suffering is over and you will surely be missed.
I remember the good times we all had as friends you, Vada, Angie and myself. I miss you and Vada very much, but knowing that the two of you are together again gives my heart peace. I love you both and always will.
