We'd like to send our condolences to the family. We were actually friends (and a co-worker) with Mary at Bachman's. Our sympathy goes out to you. Les sounds like he was a "giant" among men. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Arlene and Family,

Our deepest sympathies go out to all of you, especially Arlene.

Although we have not seen you and in the last few weeks(at Rustic), please know that we always do think about how much fun we had.

Lester was ALWAYS a hoot! He should have been a professional comedian, but in the very least he was always professional. We will always remember the laughs and fun times.

With Love,

My wife & I worked with Les at Briggs and are so sorry to hear of his passing. He always had a smile and a joking one liner as he would meet you. I worked with him when we first were employed and have many fond memories. You have our deepest sympathy. Joe & Eileen Peplinski

Dear Arlene,

We were all so very sorry to hear of your tragic loss. I know how happy you and Les were together. It was very evident the few times I met him how much he cared for and loved you. On behalf of Richard, Patrick, Allison and Jessica, please accept our very deepest sympathy. It is difficult for anyone to know the pain you are feeling at the loss of someone so near and dear to you. I hope that all the love and support of your family and many friends will give you strength at this very sad time. You have an angel in heaven looking down on you now. We love you and are thinking of you.

Love and many hugs,

Joyce, Richard, Patrick, Allison and Jessica.

We graduated from Custer High School class of "67". Then worked at Briggs & Stratton. I close my eyes and I can still see him coming down the isle on that fork lift. He was a good guy to go to high school with and a very good worker. I know I speak for a lot of people that he will be missed a lot!

"GOD BLESS YOU LES"

Les: It's been over 21 years since I stepped into the 34th MAPS building and you were one of the first people to welcome me. The memories of the bivouacs at Ft. McCoy, sign in/outs, the kidding around downstairs in the open bay etc. I have and always will remember you as a kind, generous person who enriched so many lives of the people who walked thru the doors of the 34th! For that I salute you.

Les, save us all a bar stool and hook up the keg!

Your 34th MAPS friend,

Heidi Wolf
