Margaret Balistreri Obituary

Balistreri, Margaret (Nee Quartullo) Entered Eternal Life on Sunday, July 30, 2017, at the age of 105. Longtime resident of Fox Point. Beloved wife for 68 years of the late Thomas Balistreri. Loving mother of Salvatore "Ted" (Patty) Balistreri, Sarina Balistreri and Thomas (Kathy) Balistreri. Proud grandmother of Ted (Lisa), Margaret (John) Harris, Patrick (Lisa), Nick (Erin), Scott (Luanne) Rady, Ronald Jr. (Julie) Rady, Edward (Laura) Rady, Lori (Bob) Barczak, Tom III (Amber), Jim (Judi), and Angela (Kurt) Wheeler. Margaret was also blessed with thirty great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Further survived by other relatives and dear friends. Margaret was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her life was centered around family - spending time together was one of the many things she loved to do. She enjoyed cooking and was ever the gracious hostess. Margaret was a hospitable and humble lady. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. A special thank you to the nurses and staff of Heartland Health Care. Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 3, from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 7600 N. Port Washington Road, Fox Point, followed by the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Entombment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials in Margaret's name may be made to the charity of your choice.

Aunt Margaret... thinking of her always brings a smile. She lived her life with such a sweet and open heart. Everyone was welcome in her home... and when she was able, they were treated to delicious homemade food, fresh from Sendik's market.
How she loved her family and her husband... our wonderful Uncle Tom (hello).
To Ted & Patty, Tom & Kathy, and Sarina, while you are saddened by your loss, there must be great rejoicing in heaven!

Its sad that we have lost touch with Grandpa Basil Quartullos' siblings with each generation that goes buy. From long ago visits I remember Aunt Margaret's quiet loving spirit.The Lord has blest her with many years to Love and be Loved by Family. I pray for comfort in knowing she is in Gods loving arms.
