Cvejic, Marko 07/24/1981. Left us on Sunday, January 14, 2018, at the age of 36. He was born and raised in Glendale, WI and graduated from Nicolet High School. He was a proud graduate and student of history and science, with an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts from the University of WI-Milwaukee and a Master's of Science from the same school. He followed his calling as a caretaker and worked as a social worker and humanitarian. He was the fourth child of Patricia Ellen Cvejic and the late Branko Cvejic and will be remembered and loved by his mother Patricia, his sisters Jennifer-Cvejic Basta and Mara Cvejic-Paryani, his brother Ivko Cvejic, his brother in law Michael Basta, his brother in law Nitesh Paryani, his nephews Ryan, Lucas and Nathaniel Basta, his niece Ariana Paryani, Bug the Cat, Sweetie and Velveeta. Marko loved animals and dedicated most of his life to finding ways to rescue and care for those that needed a home. A true humanitarian, the time and dedication he spent to easing other's suffering lead to his career helping those who couldn't help themselves. He gave a lot of himself to friends, family, pets and strangers alike with an energy that was truly unique. A beloved brother, son and friend, he will be missed. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC) on his behalf. Services will be at Schaff Funeral Home, 5920 W. Lincoln Ave, West Allis, 53219, on Wednesday, January 24, at 4-6PM.

It was a total pleasure working with Marko to serve our clients. He advocated loudly and effectively, making sure people had the best service provision from all angles. He was vibrant, compassionate, dedicated, and funny. I am lucky to have also known him this way outside of work.

Marko impressed me that he enjoyed life but managed to get his masters degree in Archeology. When I visited him at he house in Glendale, he told me with pride that he wanted to be successful like his father. He missed Bronco I could tell and with God's Grace may Marko rest in peace.
