I never had the pleasure of meeting Marlin. Sounds like he took after his older brothers, Ken and Russ, who I did know from St. Leo's. The love of and ability to play basketball must have been genetic! Based on the messages I just read, he also inherited the "good guy" gene. I am sending my deepest sympathies for such a hard and sad time for entire Golomski family.

Marlin was a great all around guy and will definitely be greatly missed and fondly remembered by me. Played basketball (and a little bit of softball many years ago) with him in Butler for about 14 or so years. He was also a great b-ball commissioner/organizer for Wednesday night hoops! Wished he could have seen the Bucks win the title!

I have many good memories of playing basketball and softball with Spike. He was always a tough competitor and a guy you wanted on your team. A good man. My sincerest condolences to the entire Golomski family.

I know you all hold so many memories of Marlin and I pray they will help bring you all peace. I continuously think of him every time I see an envelope that I might otherwise lick to close. Never again after the story from him so many years ago.
