Marna J. Sicula
Sicula, Marna J. (Nee Koshakow) Passed away Jan. 6, 2017 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of Paul Sicula. Cherished mother of Howard (Kathy) Sicula and Michelle (Ruben Sundeen) Sicula. Loving grandmother of Patrick Sicula, Elijah and Lola Sundeen. Dear sister of Janice (Dr. Dan) Forward and the late Sharon Hansher. Loving aunt of Mica Matsoff, Jordanna (Kyle Stapleton) Matsoff, Bari (Ron) Leventhal, the late Mark Hansher and dear great-aunt of Paley Stapleton. Further survived by other loving relatives and dear friends. Marna was a graduate of Washington High School and UW Madison. She taught children with special needs in the Madison and Milwaukee school system. Later, she worked for BDO Seidman Accounting Firm as an executive assistant. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to ALS Association of Georgia, 5881 Glenridge Dr. #200, Atlanta, GA 30328 appreciated.

CONDOLENCES TO THE SICULA FAMILY WITH RESPECT TO THE PASSING OF MARNA.

GROWING UP IN MILWAUKEE AND KNOWING BOTH PAUL AND MARNA, BEING MARRIED TO JUDY MATSOFF FOR OVER 19 YEARS, ATTAINING A DEGREE IN BROADCAST TELEVISION, EMPLOYED BY WMVS-TV, IN THE CONVERSION FROM A CLOSED CIRCUIT TEACHING STUDIO TO AN ON-AIR BROADCAST FACILITY IN 1958-59, BEING EMPLOYED BY WITI-TV, CHANNEL 6 AND WORKING WITH CARL ZIMMERMANN AND BARBARA BECKER, WHERE BY LISTENING TO THE POLICE RADIO SCANNER, PINSKER TOOK AN INTEREST IN POLICE INVESTIGATIONS AND EVENTUALLY CROSSED-OVER BOTH CAREERS IN THE FUTURE 50 YEARS.

WE WERE ALL GREAT TEENAGERS GROWING UP, LOVE OF OUR COUNTRY, AMERICA, --- MANY PARENTS, HAVING LEGALLY IMMIGRATED TO AMERICA FROM EUROPE, IN THE 30'S, BEFORE THE DESPICABLE HITLER ATTEMPTED HIS "FINAL SOLUTION". IN THE LATE 30'S, EARLY 40'S. MANY OF US, WOULDN'T BE HERE TODAY, IF OUR PARENTS DIDN'T HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO ESCAPE EUROPE. GOD BLESS AMERICA.
