Mary Snieg Obituary

Snieg, Mary Of Oconomowoc passed away July 4, 2010, at the age of 100. Mary was born Sept. 12, 1909, in Yugoslavia, to Peter Salamun and Mildred Hardi. Mary was a registered LPN at St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee. She is survived by her children, Irene (Robert Sr.) Lipo of Oconomowoc, Joanne (Rick) Scheffel of Waterford and Thomas W. Snieg of Okauchee. Fond sister of Peter (Lorraine) Salamun of Milwaukee, Anne Huff of Texas, Mildred Hapka of Burlington, WI and Pauline Werner of California. Sister-in-law of Judith Snieg of Ceadarburg. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, William and son, John. Friends may visit Saturday, July 17, from 12:30 PM until time of the Celebration of Life Service at 1:30 PM, all at Shorehaven Health and Rehabilitation Center Chapel, 1305 W. Wisconsin Ave. Oconomowoc. Memorials in Mary's name can be made to the Literacy Services of Wisconsin, 2724 W. Wells St., Milwaukee, WI 53208 or online at: www.literacyservices.org
