Dear Sweet Dolores,
I am so sorry to hear of Mel's passing. You were both so loving and supportive of me and Evan in those early years way back when we were dating and starting our life together.
We didn't get notice of the service today until after it was over. I would have taken time away from school to pay my respects. I will pray that you will take joy in the memories of your long union. My prayer is that the Lord will hold you close and comfort you at this time of your loss.
