DIED
August 17, 2018
Amidzich, Michael "Mike" died peacefully on August 17, 2018, at the age of 76. Loving Father of Vatra and Brian (Cecilia Coca) Amidzich. Also lovingly remembered by other family members and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Marko "Mike" and Helen. Mike liked to refer to himself as an "idea man" because he was always thinking of new business ventures. Many people knew Mike as "Pizza Man," but he was an entrepreneur at heart, and Pizza Man was just one of his many business ideas that he saw to fruition. While Pizza Man was his biggest success, throughout his life he started many more ventures, and his desire to cook up new ideas never left him. Mike worked with and impacted a lot of people while making many friends along the way, and he'll be dearly missed by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, send memorials to the charity of your choice. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 21st at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, S. 51st and W. Oklahoma Ave. Visitation will be held at the Church at 9:30 AM until time of service at 11AM. Interment at Arlington Park Cemetery

Mike, I Love You. We shared so many memories on Oakland and North.

It was a pleasure living next door to Pizza Man and working there for years.

I've worked at pizza man downer for 5 years, and in the first couple of years, we'd see Mike almost daily. He'd come in with a big smile and friendly words and walk around to all of the tables, greeting guests. He'd even bus tables if we were busy. You always knew he was around when you saw a flash of a short-sleeved tropical shirt in the summer or when the heat was cranked up so high that you'd be sweating on a winter day. We'll miss him.

My sincere condolences. My late father, Mark Kuglitsch Jr and Mike go way back.
Great memories of our daddy-daughter date nights going out for pizza & to say hello to Mike.
In more recent years, I ran into him at my friends dog grooming shop & The Brass Key restaurant. We had a nice talk. Good to catch up.
He was a great man & will be missed. Xoxo

When we moved to Milwaukee in 2005, we quickly discovered Pizza Man, and it became our go-to places. We were devastated when it burned down, and thrilled to see it's rise again. We no longer live in Milwaukee, but have the
fondest memories of Pizza
Man. May Michael's memory be a blessing. He was part of making Milwaukee special.
