Michael Kunkel Obituary

Made it to the final table at the big poker game in the sky on Monday, Feb. 27, 2006, at the age of 33 years. He will be forever missed by his loving mother, Josie Zbikowski; his father, Steven Kunkel; brother, Matt Zbikowski and sister, Kellie Kunkel. Mike had many people in his life who loved him, including a step-brother, a step-sister, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and, of course, his loyal poker buddies. Visitation will be held Sat., March 4, at Schaff's, 1-4PM followed by family and friends sharing memories.

MYK you were definitely one of a kind, from the moment I met you. We remember you helping drive a car down for us and celebating christmas with us, you left some letters behind describing your stay and how much you were enjoying the beauty of AZ. you will be missed by all of us. MYK (Twiggy) - was one of my "misfits" Because my house was the "land of forgotten boys" and I loved him - My son remembers him for bringing KFC mashed potatoes to Thanksgiving Dinner. MYK thanks for all the great unforgettable memories. Love you always Momma Lisa, Squiggy (Mike), and Devin.

I spent last new year's eve playing poker with you and getting to know you. Your last words to me is "we have to play again, later" .It was fun. I'm glad I got to meet you. To many memories to put just one in his guest book... MYK was the most unique friend I've ever had. He always made me think, laugh, and sometimes cringe.... 20 years is a long time to have a friend... But I wish I could have had at least 20 more years with him....
