I also worked with Mike for many years. He was always the first person to offer help with any project,no matter if it was work related, or something personal. Mike was also very talented in both wood working and metal forming.Years ago my father thought it would be a good idea to get a metal fire ring for bonfires for our northern Wisconsin cabin. I knew just where to locate this item. I asked Mike to make one for us, and he did an excellent job. Now, as I have in the past, I will think of Mike while sitting around the bonfire. His laugh will be missed by many.

My husband, Greg and Mike were good friends for over 20 years. They met at Sterling. I remember him as always being very nice and caring. Years ago, one of our cats got out the door and we were worried sick, because she's a house cat, never was let outside. It was November, very cold and snowy. Well, that night after working 2nd shift, my husband and Mike came together to look for our cat. He helped us find her, I thanked him over and over and he said "no problem". Even though I met him a couple of times, I will never forget him. We have lost one of the nicest people around. Rest in Peace, Mike, you'll be missed.

I was first introduced to Michael when I worked at Sterling years ago. I found out that Michael and my dad were cousins! It was an honor to know Michael and call him my cousin as well. He was such a warm, caring man and will be missed. My deepest sympathies to his entire family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I met Mike 7 years ago and he was nothing but nice to me. Although we worked different shifts when we saw each other we always had a conversation that usually ended in a laugh. Mike was a very intelligent and fun person and he will be greatly misssed. My deepest sympathy to his wife and family. We have truly lost a gem.
