Michael W. Wasilczuk

Wasilczuk , Michael W. Peacefully entered Eternal Life on Monday, April 9, 2018, at the age of 101 years. Beloved husband of the late Harriet (nee Banas). Dear father of Suzanne Wasilczuk (Tim Stratton), Michael (Debra), John (Lois Greer) and Andrew (Cheryl) Wasilczuk. Further survived by 6 grandchildren, other relatives and friends in the US and Poland. A veteran of World War II, Michael flew in the Polish Air Force before he was held as a prisoner of war in Russia. Upon release, he flew 32 missions as a Lancaster pilot with the RAF 300 Polish Squadron in Faldingworth England. In 1982 he retired from Ladish Co. after 30 yrs working as a machinist. He was devoted to his children and grandchildren and was an exceptional fisherman and gardener in South Milwaukee.
