Peckarsky, Milton Passed away February 10, 2017 at the age of 96. Beloved husband of the late Adaline (Nee Kupperman), Anita (Nee Roberts) and Vivian (Nee Ringle). Cherished father of Peter (Andrea) Peckarsky, Craig Peckarsky and dear stepfather of Sharon Rukin, Mark Prudowsky and Judith Prudowsky. Loving grandfather of JoEllen, Erica, Victoria, Justin, Josh, Jacob, Daniella, Sam and dear great-grandfather of Bella. Further survived by other loving relatives and dear friends. Milton was a graduate of Washington High School, Carroll College and Columbia University. He was an accomplished pianist having played in venues from UW-Milwaukee to Carnegie Hall. He proudly promoted music as a long term member of the MacDowell Club of Milwaukee and as a music teacher for the Milwaukee Public Schools and Alverno College. Milton organized concerts throughout the Milwaukee area to help promote contemporary music. He will be dearly missed. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 14 at 12:00 PM at Mound Zion Cemetery, 14510 W. North Ave., Brookfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to the Jewish Home and Care Center appreciated.

I just heard of Milton's passing (and Vivian's too). I've been out of state for a few years now. Milton and Vivian meant a great deal to me - Milton was a real champion of my singing and led me to a new path in contemporary music that I'm not sure I would've found on my own. Thank you, Milton, and rest in peace.
